Your artwork is cut and poured by hand, one piece at a time. No two are alike.

1. Cut into acrylic.
Every cartridge label starts as a solid block of acrylic. The design is CNC-machined into it at varying depths, so the image has dimension before any color goes in.
2. Poured in resin.
Each channel is filled by hand with pigmented resin, one color at a time, then left to cure. The colors settle at different depths inside the block, not on top of it.
3. Finished by hand.
Once the resin cures, the back of the block is sanded flat and painted. It's the only part nobody sees, and it's what makes the light spread evenly across the finished piece.
4. Lit from within.
Depending on the piece, light comes from behind the block or in through its edges. Either way it travels through resin of varying thickness, so the image glows unevenly and reads with depth instead of going flat.

Smaller-format wall art in the shape of a handheld cartridge. Same resin process, same backlighting, same one-of-a-kind artwork. Solid piece, no cabinet.
