What game should we build?

Experience the Depth in Person — Sample Swatch

Never seen our resin artwork in person? Photos and video just can't capture the optical depth. We’ll send a sample straight to your door.

Our artwork is CNC-milled into acrylic at varying depths, then hand-poured with pigmented resin. The result looks like a crisp 3D sculpture suspended in glass that dynamically reacts to light as you move around it. It’s a tactile experience no screen can replicate—you have to hold it under light to truly get it.

What’s Included

  • 4×5" Resin Artwork Swatch: Milled from the exact acrylic and poured with the same high-clarity resin as our full-scale builds.

  • Mini LED Light: Experience firsthand how backlighting brings the colors and geometric depth to life.

  • Master Spec Guide: Complete dimensions, weights, mounting specs, and cabinet configurations for all four Retro Cache formats.

A Note on Our Craft Every Retro Cache cabinet is a true one-of-one built specifically around your chosen game—we never reuse an artwork design. This sample isn't a draft of your custom piece; it's a physical demonstration of our material quality, optical clarity, and light transmission.

How the artwork is made

1. Cut into acrylic.

Every cartridge label starts as a solid block of acrylic. The design is CNC-machined into it at varying depths, leaving recessed channels, so the image has dimension before any color goes in.

2. Poured in resin.

Each channel is filled by hand with pigmented resin, one color at a time, then left to cure. The colors settle at different depths inside the block, not on top of it.

3. Finished by hand.

Once the resin cures, the back of the block is sanded flat and painted. It's the only part nobody sees, and it's what makes the backlight spread evenly instead of hot-spotting.

4. Built for your game.

Every piece is made from scratch around the one game you name. No molds, no reprints, no second copy of yours. That's why it takes three weeks.
